nah. when i was out looking for my first car it was between a metro gta and a nova 1.4 sr. i bought the nova as i prefer the interior.

A couple round here with Rover 1.8 vvc engines. (I think thats the right engine) They do go very well! But yeah, how ever quick they would be, i'd rather walk. Same goes for Mini's.
