Basically i wud like a thatcham approved car alarm professionally installed into my car.........
I dont need anything too flashy, just the normal central locking control, indicator flash, u no.....just normal.
however.....it will need to be a good make (Clifford etc), and also include total closure. ie: When i press the button, it will also close my windows and sunroof (electric).
Anyone know of a good alarm and one that will suit my needs.....as well as a rough price?? Oh - and suggest somewhere i can can look to get such an alarm fitted!

Are toad any good? I heard they are like a cheap alarm system etc...
So am i looking at least £300 upwards for a thatcham approved alarm?

As long as its a decent brand its not a problem, clifford, toad, cobra, sigma etc.. The most important thing is to get it done by someone with a good rep, if its a shit install then you may aswell have bought one from argos and fitted it yourself.

yeah thats the thing. i dunno whether i need a thatcham approved actually, might just go for a decent one, coz it aint worth £300+
My dad got a well good clifford done for £220 on his CR-V and they did a remote boot pop as well. Its called a clifford Arrow 3.....these any good?

arrow is the base model, not sure if they still make them or not with the G4 range coming out

yeah they still do the arrow, but i might leave the alarm till next month, then i'll have bit more money to get a better one.

we at midas do the clifford 300 for £300 fitted or the sigma m30 as fitted in bmw etc for £300, both are cat 1 quality alarms with all the options to add extras like tilt n motion etc if needed. Give us a call on 01992 534583
